Amateur Golf Tips

Golf is quite the popular sport in the USA, UK, Ireland, Australia, Sweden and Austria, which are countries where a significant percentage of the population practice it. Amateur golf is becoming increasingly popular in Europe and Asia, as there are more and more clubs and public golf courses.
When you play amateur golf your skill is established first, and there is an evaluation system that allows access of players based on HCP, which is favorable to the less skilled players.
This way, players with different skills can compete in the same game, with equal chances of success. However, this privilege has another consequence: the privileged players can not receive money prizes, and if they do receive prizes in products and trophies, their value can not exceed 500 EUR.

Stralsund - Part of the Hanseatic League

Hanseatic League, often known simply as Hansa  was an alliance of trading guilds that established and maintained a monopoly trade which has expanded over the entire Baltic Sea and much of northern Europe for a period of four centuries, from late Middle Ages (the 13 th century) until the early modern period (the 17th century).

Historians agreed that the origin of the League has its roots in the foundation of the city Lübeck, which occurred in 1158/1159, after the conquest of the area that previously belong to the count of Schauenburg and Holstein by Henry the Lion, Duke of Saxony.

Commercial expeditions, piracy and raids were common to the Baltic region since ancient times. For example, sailors of Gotland had navigated so far that even the city of Novgorod was relatively accessible to them. However, interstate trade in northern Europe, and particularly in the Baltic Sea, was practically insignificant until the Hanseatic League creation, after which it began to run on a major scale.

Reichstag Berlin - The Green Parliament

Reichstag will soon become the "greenest" parliament of the world, following the decision taken by its members as the energy in the building should come only from renewable sources.

Building administrators began to replace old energy sources with environmentally friendly sources such as water, wind and solar energy since last summer.

The transformation of Reichstag building, one of the symbols of Berlin, in a "green" building have been initiated since 1990. Besides the glass dome designed by architect Sir Norman Foster, investments were made to secure the energy efficiency, which led to a 94% reduction in emissions of carbon dioxide.

The roof's architecture allows natural illumination of the building and the thick and insulated walls built in the nineteenth century retain warm temperatures during the winter and cool during summer. Thus air-conditioning devices are not used extensively in building.

Currently, the generators from the basement, using biofuel, are producing 40% of building energy for lightning, heating, air conditioning or water, while the rest is made from coal and nuclear energy.
